Must say real easy to make, though it was a little dry.
Now I need to make some fat bombs
Actually, you want to stay away from fat bombs and mug cakes for a while. A long while, if you have any propensity to overeat in light of sweetness.
You can counterbalance dryness by adding more fat. More butter, or olive oil. I use them both in sweet and savory “mug cakes”.
I don’t over eat I’m real strick on what I eat. I have my diet soda a day. No cravings or anything.
I enjoy the occasional mug cake, too. Occasional… Probably had 2 in the last 3 months.
Lots of varieties out there and you only have one piece, not a great big cake with 12 to 18 servings to deal with.
Fat bombs, I don’t do. I just eat regular food that has fat in it.
Good luck!
From my perspective – trying to lose weight – I am puzzled by anyone needing a fat bomb. Why? Are you hungry?
There’s no need to reach a fat macro. It’s a guesstimate of your daily activities need. But that macro can be fulfilled by stored body fat or ingested fat. You don’t need to eat that much. For many, the reason weight loss is possible is hunger goes away because that stored body fat is being used in place of what normally would be eaten.
I will do the mug bun (no added sweetner) once every two weeks or so. I enjoy a good burger from time to time and it didn’t slow my weight loss journey. There are some natural sugars in the coconut flour so it does tax my carb macro a bit.
You can also increase the moisture by adding a tbs of water, bacon fat or heavy cream.
Try adding mayonnaise or sour cream, or both! Also maybe shredded zucchini for moisture.
