Macadamia nut milk! What do you think?

(Charlie Kathopoulis) #1

Hi fellow Ketonians. Was out getting my macadamias today and found this:

What do you guys think? Macro profile looks awesome but I’d love some ones review in the ingredients. Mind you tastes awesome so I’ll make a cuppa whilst you guys have a squiz.

Dear god, I hope to find that in a store near me.:heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes:

I am just going to find out if it can be made the same way I make almond milk

Hi, this is the carnivore sub forum. I don’t think that came from an animal!

(Charlie Kathopoulis) #5

Ooops my apologies I thought I was in the food section. Let me see if I can move this

(Chris) #6

All good homie

I wish this was available where l live!

Check Walmart. Ours carried it.

No Walmart in Europe :unamused:
Maybe l’ll try to to make my own? :woman_cook:

 On my to do list - just made Ghee (have to post that) and tallow for some pemmican  - this cooking stuff is fun (when it works  )

Ghee is also on my challenge list!
I remember l tried some store bought brand and it wasn’t great so l sticked to my beloved butter. But l like to expand my horizons :wink::wink:.
My latest discovery is chicken fat drippings when l’m backing chicken thighs. Glorious and so full of flavor on its own.
The bones go to my own bone broth, juicy meat for whatever recipe that calls for chicken meat and the skins turn into chicken rinds or chicken cracklings…
Did l mention that l love cooking…and eating? :rofl::rofl::woman_cook:

Reason for editing: l cannot should up about cooking

Where are you Charlz?

Where I am, US, rural TN, it can be challenging to even find macadamia nuts. And when I do, it’s a tiny package and you’d think they were made of gold.
