Low carb wraps

I’m not sure I understand this line of thinking. I don’t see how consuming fiber lowers the net carbs number. If I eat something with 20g digestible carbs it will always be 20g of net carbs no matter how much fiber I take in with it…or am I missing something?

If a manufacturer adds wood pulp to some food product, they don’t get to subtract any of the carbs that were in there before the wood pulp was added to arrive at net carbs. They just get to make a bigger tortilla out of the same number of carbs. Honestly that doesn’t seem that much like cheating to me. At least not any more than some of the strategies I myself use to make stuff.

Mary, good for you for staying strong. Yeah, those flour tortillas…

I’m probably just contributing confusion. There are some articles online saying there’s no official standard for net carb claims, so processed products may not always be as virtuous as touted.

The wrap I use is 6g … but I am on OMAD at this point … when you get there, and you most likely will … the carbs for the wrap will be on point…

Better ingredients, better health … KETO
