Lost weight on vacation?! first time ever!

Just got back from 4 days at the beach… and for the first time ever I lost weight. Another 2lbs down - I’ve been keto for a month and 0.5lb/day is normal for me so far. When we went away we expected a few cheats, but in the end just didn’t fancy anything. We ate once a day, sometimes big breakfast and then nothing until following day. Other day we ate just lunch or dinner, but found the best we could. Grilled fish cooked in chipotle butter; ribeye and charcuterie plate. Pretty damn awesome food, and it’s nice to come back and have stayed keto and lost a few pounds.

Perhaps this will work after all :wink:

Another surprising thing - I’ve only just realized (seriously) that the last time I ate was 36 hours ago. I had breakfast yesterday morning, and just about to start preparing dinner the next day :slight_smile:

I haven’t truly been fasting - I’ve had 4 cups of coffee and heavy cream in that time - but still.

Keto is the diet that makes you forget eating!

I tell that to folks and they think I’ve lost my mind. It’s difficult for them to believe. I, for one, am glad it’s true!
