What did everybody do with your clothes that got too big as you lost weight and what did you do for clothes along your journey to your stable healthy weight?
And while we’re at it, any skin firming recommendations?

I gave all my clothes away my skirts underwear started falling off me…lol kept my leggings though!
Fortunately I can make new healthy iron rich mitochondrial rich baby fat cells that also burn more fat.
Loose skin, fast as long as you can and let your skin eat itself! Fasting makes your birthday suit nice and firm rather than leaving you with jiggly jello…lol Then build muscle volume.
Gave them away to people I knew if possible. And if not, Goodwill.
Got just a few pieces at a time until I was the size I wanted.
Toning exercises and fasting.
I gave all my loose clothing to goodwill. Then I bought clothes that fit.
Well, until those clothes didn’t fit, then took them to goodwill, and got smaller… repeat until I stop loosing weight,
As for the loose skin…autophagy is changing that. The bat wings under my arm are must less than a few months ago…the apron is going away too. But, my scrawny legs still have too much skin. Well, sadly, coronavirus means I won’t be going to my favorite hot springs…so no need to concern myself with how I look in a bathing suit…maybe by next year the loose skin and the virus will both be gone.
I’m a miser. I just got smaller belts and have bunched up pants on all but 3 pairs of pants and shirts I bought new as my “dress” clothes.
I don’t care if day to day people think I look like I lost weight. I’ll wear em til they’re holy or belt bunching starts making them uncomfortable.
I was on the border of overweight. Reduced from 170 to 140 so waist size from 34 to 31 but was determined to put most of the weight back as muscle. Today weight is 159.8 lbs, about 14 lbs new muscle, 6 lbs of fat. Waist size is back up to perhaps 32. quads and glutes have filled out. I’d like another 10 lbs of muscle but not more fat. Remains to be seen if I can pull that off. In the mean time I’m not discarding any clothing. (I love my tighter tshirts.) My view is healthy weight loss is to replace as much fat as possible with muscle. Even my bone mass seems to have increased, 6,2 lbs to 7.0 lbs. If true I’m really happy to see that.
Hello! in my country, new clothes of good quality are very expensive, so I took my old ones to make them smaller, specially dresses and pants. Cotton T shirts, I am still using them, but of course now they fit loose on me. I went down from 83kgs to 68kgs, 5 kgs more remaining, with a height of 1.68m. I have some loose skin also, specially in my arms, and I am doing OMAD right now.
Collagen supplements, bone broth and beef gelatin are what I attribute my surprisingly elastic skin to. I am a big loser and old and expected to be cursed with huge bags of wrinkly skin for the rest of my life. Surprisingly it isn’t near as bad as I expected. During stalls, while weight re-distributes, the skin also adapts. It’s not perfect, But I expect over time it will get better and better.
I think collagen matters, stalls matter (to re-set metabolism and re-distribute remaining fat and tighten skin). I think autophagy helps, but watching my husband during prolonged autophagy, I saw his skin turn into thin, wrinkly paper draped over bones. I am sure that is a matter of degree.
I noticed this, too. I still have them but much less than other times I have lost weight.
Yes, I am really happy with what is happening with my abdomen.
Either threw them out or put them in those big donation boxes. On the skin, supplement with collagen (awesome for the joints too), and if you REALLY wanna work on things like firming or if you have a lot to loose look into something with Ghk-Cu, works CRAZY but in cream form it’s expensive. I’ve literally pulled my forehead wrinkles I’d say almost 50% out with it. But I inject it, so slightly more effective. Obviously a good skin care system either way.
My fasting “protocol” isn’t anything formal at all. I typically eat one meal a day…just because I am not hungry. But, about every week to 10 days I fast longer. (2-3 days…but sometimes only 36 hours…depends on how I feel about it). To go the longer times, eating lots of fat in what I think might be the final meal before a fast really helps. I eat that final meal about 10 am. that way the first full night is nothing unusual … the second night isn’t really that much more time than usual (one meal a day), the third night is the only time I am feeling like I might be hungry…but, not every time. A couple of times I went to 5 days just because I wasn’t hungry and I felt I was on a roll.
It really isn’t anything formal
Thank you for sharing. I have started doing some 36/48hr fasts over the last couple of weeks, but it’s too early to notice any results but it sounds as if you’re doing something similar so I’m hopeful I might end up with some encouraging results too!
I just walk around in baggy pants with my ass crack showing…Kidding…Mostly.
