Hello am new to this and next week am doing a 12 hour flight and wondered if you could sugggest some flight snacks that I could bring that would last 12 hours!
Long Haul Flight snack ideas
Almonds
Macadamia nuts
Beef jerky, but really read labels looking for min. carbs
Invest in packit freezer lunch bag then you could carry:
Cheese sticks
Baggies with deli meat of your choice
Hard boiled eggs
I look at 12 hour flights as an opportunity to fast.
But that’s just me
So true and I just realised it is night flight so maybe a good meal at dinner and then fast away until the morning! I guess just so used to snacking on flights - maybe time for a change.
I always travel with nuts and cheese, but often don’t need to eat them. I think like you say it’s habit to eat on a flight. I find it quite a freedom to not eat and not be worried about when the trolley will get to you
I feel the same about the cinema - all that faffing at kiosk to buy expensive food that will be eaten before the main feature. Again, a total freedom in just not eating anything.
Freezable gel liner…Sounds like it can’t be taken only a plane through TSA rules about gels.
