Lecture by Dr. Robert Lustig at San Francisco Public Library, January 9, 2018

(You've tried everything else; why not try bacon?) #1

A fascinating lecture by the author of “Sugar: The Bitter Truth,” discussing broader issues related to the health and nutrition of the United States. In particular, he recommends renaming Type II diabetes as “processed food disease.”

You’ll be glad to learn that a lot of what we do as a result of eating a well-formulated ketogenic diet has broad and profound implications for our health and happiness, according to Dr. Lustig.

Calling it “processed food disease” let’s off all the frutarians who blow up their liver and get insulin resistant from taking excessive fructose…

Bad Diet Diabetes seems like a better rename. Genetic Diabetes for Type 1, Bad Diet Diabetes for T2.
