Leafy greens: to count or not to count

Hi y’all,

I was wondering how I should count the carbs in raw leafy greens? Is a carb a carb and they get counted no matter the source or don’t bother counting the carbs for lettuce, kale, etc?

I count but subtract out fiber.

I too count the carbs in leafy greens minus the fiber.

I know this is a frustrating answer, but it depends on how it effects you. If you stall when you up your veggies, then I’d consider cutting. If you’re still losing eating veggies then I wouldn’t worry

If you’re taking the time to count, I’d count it all (net). I’m of the school of a carb is a carb. Not sure your goals, but I try to keep my carbs as close to 0, so I’m watching everything I take in. Even spices get counted.

I agree with @jilliangordona. It all depends on your tolerance level. I think it’s better to just count them all.
