I use a vita-mix to make the rice…its never mushy!..I fry it in a little coconut oil…Gosh…I can overeat it easily! …
But…under 20 carbs…for me!

Tina, what a brilliant idea…the salad spinner. I always wrung out my cauliflower in a tea towel, even after steaming, as it was too moist for my taste. I’m going to try the spinner next time.

And speaking of cauliflower, I recently was disappointed at my Trader Joe’s store when told they were out of cauliflower pizza crust. It was flying off the shelf and the producer couldn’t keep up with demand.

When I was growing up, as a kid in the 70’s, my dad used to grow Kolhrabi and we never ate the bulbs, only the leaves like mustard or collards. It wasn’t until I became an adult that I realized people grow it for the bulbs and not the leaves! My childhood was kinda warped. Either way it’s really good! :blush:
