KFC Chizza

(barrytspencer) #1

The “chizza” is made of “100% mozzarella cheese, sauce made from California tomatoes (and) 100% chicken fillet”, according to KFC, and topped with cheese sauce, chicken ham and pineapple.

I don’t see this food on their Nutritional info site.

No Pineapple!

The video that’s embedded makes it look easy to make although I suspect the crust is fried in a super low grade oil. I bet we could make it ourselves. Cool post. TY

The article mentions that the crust is a “crumbed” chicken fillet. Crumbed = breaded = not good for keto.

Interesting idea, for trying to make at home, though.

I thought it looked kind of suspect.

It’s almost like food. And probably low fat!

The article states the crust is 100% chicken filet. In this instance “Crumbed” could be the terminology used for the grinding of the chicken. As we know from @richard Aussie and American terminology often collide.

In Australia Crumbed = Breaded. The grinding of the chicken would be called mincing.

I think by 100% chicken fillet they are saying its not any other parts of the chicken. the base looks like it is breaded/crumbed.

I think they should change the name from “crumbed” chicken to “carbed” chicken.

Change crumbs to pork rinds :o)
