The answer is likely the expectation you have.
Story’s of 10 pounds flying off in 3 days of keto are the rarity in keto, and not the reality.
Another note is that MCT oil as well as Coconut oil will provide false positives on keto strips, and should not be considered a absolute when using those.
How do I know? Well I have been keto dropped over 80 pounds and never once turned a keto stick even a slight shade of purple. However I ate a bunch of coconut oil one day and 24 house later had that stick as purple as can be.
Ketones passing through the urine are a signal of excess not being utilized.
The good news is stat keto, it will get you there!
