Ketone help

Hi,

Can anyone confirm if the the TRUE METRIX AIR System is suitable for checking Ketones?

Using the strips and my blood is 5.4 but i’m not sure if this is ketones or glucose.

According to the USER MANUAL (pdf) the meter only indicates that you should test for ketones by some other means if your glucose is high. This is useful for T1 diabetics who are on the lookout for ketoacidosis.
It doesn’t test them for you.

In any case, if you do get a meter that does both there are 2 different types test strips, one for glucose and the other for ketones.

Thank you, so glucose results do not indicate any ketone levels.
