Keto Yogis?

Looking for any Keto Yogis! I have been religiously going to yoga three times a week since November and it has drastically improved my body. Now that I am Keto I am hoping to see more improvement and finally be able to do some more advanced classes!

Have you noticed any improvement in your yoga practice since going Keto?

Most days me, anything from fifteen mins to an hour depending on time available. I’m in no ways an expert as I work from an app (Yoga Studio) at home, but still getting benefits - I’ve been keto for longer than I’ve been doing yoga regularly so can’t answer your question specifically. My stress levels are lower (though this may be a combination of the yoga a daily meditation practice I started at the same time) and I’m definitely more flexible, but still a loads of tension (possibly historical trauma) in my hips which I’m working to release.

Hi,

The first thing I really noticed is that a previous injuries were no longer bothering me. I had injured my left knee and right shoulder about four years ago and after about 6 weeks of yoga, three times a week, I no longer have pain or irritation. I also lost inches around my waist and thighs over the last 4 months. I am so so so much more flexible and have increased my core strength which was non-existent previously. It also seems to be a great way for me to deal with any pent up emotions…you just let that shit go. :):grin:

Wow - good to know - I have started adding a little mindfulness to my keto and think that is useful. I may add yoga as time goes on. Thanks!
