Something interesting happened to me on Saturday October 14th 2017, I felt mega-energized. My wife told me she had never seen me in such a great mood! I chalked it up to the diet of course, and I did feel great!
I am not sure if I am running on ketones yet, however as I was commuting to work, I started feeling like I had been in a stupor for years and moments of Klarity are starting to poke through. These moment of Klarity are random and non linear, everything from old vacations which I had forgotten to recent decisions I have made that don’t in hindsight seem like good decisions. It’s like a massive jigsaw puzzle is starting to assemble itself in front of my eyes and that puzzle is my life.

Not sure I can explain it any better, but wanted to share my 1st week revelations, I guess this could be classified as a NSV.

Yep, I know what you mean. I think this is very common. We are basically clearing away the fog that the SAD diet put us in for most of our lives. Depending how long you’ve been at it you may notice it gets even more noticeable. If you want to try a few more things that really lift the fog and boost mood (aside from water fasting which takes the cake) try eliminating artificial sweeteners, all dairy and all seed/polyunsaturated oils (canola, soybean, corn) for a month and see what happens. I did this about 6 weeks ago and it was a game changer for me.

I get too many fat calories from dairy. I think I am gonna have to stick with those for the time being. Black coffee messes with me!

I experience this too and it’s fantastic, I feel like a million bucks. I do 20:4 i.f. on weekdays, plus physical exercise and sufficient hydration help to enhance the feeling of clarity. Mindfulness meditation too. Oh yeah, and no alcohol. Clarity out the butt.
