I have been eating low carb, primal, paleo, LCHF for almost 10 years now and no matter what I do around the 2nd week of LCHF/Keto I always get such a severe migraine (not just a keto headache) that lasts many days with so much pain and vomiting until I feel like I’m going to die and can’t endure anymore and am forced to stop. I’ve tried it all, upping my salt intake, upping my fat intake, adding in my leafy greens, removing leafy greens, taking some supplements (maybe I’ve missed something), drinking more water, drinking less water, bone broth, bullion, switching to pink Himalayan salt, removing dairy, better sleep, removing caffine, adding caffine, working out more, working out less, I’ve tried it all and to no avail I can’t get past the crippling and extremely painful migraines.
So at the moment I carb cycle (I.e. sweet potatoes and squash) and IF and it works for me until there is some miracle that can keep me in ketosis without the crippling pain when I am over a week into keto. On a side note, I have a lot of health issues like celiacs disease and issues with my gallbladder which I believe keep me from adsorbing vitamins, minerals, and electrolytes properly. There is no real way to tell what I am lacking and how to fix it.
Maybe there is someone who has experienced what I am enduring and has a solution?
