Keto for improved energy & brain power. Tips please!

Hello! I’m new here, I’ve been Paleo for a few months now, but my energy levels aren’t quite what I feel they should be and I’d also love my brain\memory to function better. I’m ready to delve into keto and have started tracking macros. I have no need to loose weight, so I just wondered if anyone had any specific tips for my goals. Thanks!

Assuming that you’re reading other threads on the forum concerning getting started about such things as keeping carbs below 20 grams, etc. then I’ll say that this is a good time to consider ketogenic fats such as coconut oil and MCT Oil. That doesn’t mean that you have to use them, but since they are more directly ketogenic than other foods, they’ll make ketones more accessible to the brain in a shorter period of time.

One of the many reasons I’m keto is ADD, so the cognitive effects are important to me, so I use coconut and MCT oil in my diet regularly.

Thanks, I have already started using coconut oil, I have looked into MCT oil, but don’t have any, so will consider again.
