Keto Foods While Sick

Ive been on keto for 2 months now and this is my first real illness. Had some fairly severe constipation followed up by a food poisoning event. I havent been able to eat normally in a couple days and mainly been drinking water and ketoaid.

Im trying to get back on my feel, are there any keto stomach friendly foods? All the heavy creams, cheeses, meats seem to completely disinterest me right now and make me nauseous. When I was sick before keto, Id usually eat something light like saltine crackers, toast, or other such things.

Sorry you have been ill. I have found that bone broth and then egg drop soup made with bone broth are great for when you are feeling like eating again. In the meantime, don’t push yourself to eat. Feel better soon.

(store bought broth is fine too)

I find bone broth and soft-boiled eggs (or runny scrambled) to be easy on the stomach when I am sick. Also, now that I am fat-adapted, I find it really easy to fast through the part of any illness that involves vomiting or loss of appetite, and then to resume to eating once my stomach is interested in food again.
