Hello, I am new here and I curious about keto diet lifestyles to get fat loss. I have some questions about it. Can I achieve fat loss by doing ketogenic diet plus IF without exercise? or with exercise but only doing little walk instead of doing workout?
Keto diet + IF without exercise
You absolutely can do this without exercise, although it’s always better to move your body on a regular basis. As they lose, many folks feel like being more active, and I hope that’s the case for you. Concentrate on getting fat-adapted, that’s the most important.
Absolutely but you may find you end up wanting to exercise due to having more energy to use up.
But that’s ok cos with me it only lasted 3 months and a very expensive gym membership which I’m just getting out of now!
Ir depends on whether you prefer to lose weight or fat. If you want to lose excess fat, weight is really irrelevant. The low-insulin diet known as keto/LCHF is about, among other things having to do with metabolic health, freeing our fat tissue to release excess fat to be metabolized, and that happens whether we exercise or not.
If the reading on the scale is of concern to you, however, avoid exercise, because you run the risk of gaining muscle, and since muscle is denser than fat tissue, you might get thinner without losing any weight. Of course, sometimes keto puts lean muscle on, even when the person concerned doesn’t exercise. The reason is that if you eat in a way that promotes metabolic health and that provides the body with enough energy, the body is going to heal itself, whether that means increasing bone density, adding muscle, disposing of excess fat, or all three at once.
Muscle gain I hope. I’m gaining about as much muscle as I’m losing in fat. Someday I will not have man boob but will have pecs.
