They CAN do anything, the challenge is getting through the confusion of the person taking the order. I know Mcdonald’s has automated order machines in a few areas. I’m very much looking forward to those coming to my area.

They are a pain in the butt. Just when you figure out how to customize your order, they update the software and make it impossible to do. They also always put the newest person in the restaurant at the register. Seriously.

Those things are brilliant! Now I can order exactly how I want and with no confusion from the person on the other side of the counter. We have a McD’s app now and I can (custom) order from my phone too.

Edit: The McD’s app remembers my previous orders so it’s almost a one click effort to reorder any complex burger construction again… I’m loving it…

Yeah but having a PM named “Scott” just seems wrong. (I’m an Aussie living in Canada and our PM is “Justin” which is almost as bad!)

You make a good point, indeed. TBH, I think I’d rather have Scott then Justin having watched both of them - Scott’s not as much of a media whore, although Justin is more likely to go keto if someone tells him it’s the hot new fad :slight_smile:

They have them in China, but no bun isn’t an option on them :confused:. The Hong Kong machines have many more choices. I wasn’t keto when I used one but I think no bun was an option. So I guess the choices they give depend on your community. So I learned not to request no ketchup because it keeps the cheese from glueing to the bun, then use the clean bun to wipe off the rest of the ketchup. The salad comes with a keto friendly sesame dressing, so I put some of he salad on the burger and it’s not half bad!

I do think it’s funny how the Golden Arches have such a bad rep, and deservedly so, but they can actually be a great keto option while out and about (or abooooot for our Canadian friends)
