Keto Cream Cheese Pancakes with step by step directions (EASY)

(KB Keto) #1

Good Afternoon. I’d like to share these simple cream cheese pancakes in a step by step picture recipe. Enjoy.

Ingredients.
2 TBSP Cream Cheese (be sure to check the label. Some store brands add carbs whereas Philadelphia and others do not)
2 Eggs
keto friendly sweetners or spices to taste (I personally do not use any)
Quality butter for the pan.

Tools: Pan / Blender

Here we go.

Add 2 tbsp of Cream Cheese and 2 Eggs to your blender.

Blend for 1 minute or so until thoroughly mixed.

After blending, let the mix sit to decrease foam/bubbles and start prepping the stove

Add your butter to the pan

Now that the butter is good and melted, pour in about 1/3 of the mix to the pan

Cook on one side approximately 2 minutes (this will vary based on heat)

*This one needed a little more time, the 2nd one I made was a little over done.

Once you flip it, cook the other side about 1 minute.

Remove and Repeat - keep mind that some of the butter will absorb in each. The first one takes a little longer to cook and the 3rd one tends to cook the fastest.

ENJOY

I added Peanut Butter to these and folded them over. Of course you can add sugar free syrup, butter, cream cheese, berries or whatever keto friendly topping you so desire.

Next time I make these - I’m going to try and see how peanut butter and unsweetened cocoa powder in the mix work. I’ll let you know.

Yum. Thank you for posting this today. I haven’t felt great today and had only keto coffee until I saw these. I realized I was missing some bread/cake items. Good thing I had the ingredients!

A lot of great discussion at IBIH on this recipe. Common modification if you want more realistic, thicker pancakes is add 2 tbsp of coconut flour and ~1 tsp baking powder.

Yeah this! I use a recipe for cinnamon swirl pancakes that is basically this. A few more carbs, but perfectly doable. Sometimes I’ll even skip the cinnamon/icing and make small ones for mcgriddle type things (cheese, small pancakes, breakfast sausage, and egg if you want to get fancy).

Either way you do it they are delicious and SUPER filling.

These were tasty .I started with a sugar free syrup which tasted fake and went onto clarified butter with maple extract much better. I think berries and some hwc would be the best
