Keto Costco Run

(KCKO, KCFO 🄄) #21

Bought the 24 oz. sea salt roasted macadamias yesterday, $14.99. Ingredients are macadamia nuts, sea salt and macadamia oil. Love them.

I buy my oils, kerrygold butter and cheese, other cheeses, organic veggies, salami, bacon, cage free eggs, chicken, lamb, bison, La Croix water, berries, frozen wild caught salmon and cod there.

#22

Their tub of Virgin Coconut Oil is a lifesaver!

Along with New Zealand Lamb shoulder! I divide it up into 3 hunks and freeze two of them. Each hunk creates two meals for two, and is probably grain-finished as it is mild tasting. Works out to about $5 a pound, a wonderful deal.

Kerrygold butter and Kerrygold Dubliner cheese are a staple as well.

Will have to check out the wild caught salmon and bison next time!

Don’t forget the cream cheese, good to mix in while you scramble some eggs then mix some in with a mashed up avocado and put that on top with some bacon and kerrygold cheese, keeps me full for 2 days, keto plus fasting, I don’t eat enough anymore to shop at Costco, don’t need snacks,my life is so much simpler now not thinking about food all the time, being able to take it or leave it is true freedom

#24

I went to Costco today, found lots of good stuff, but no almond flour.

#25

I found everything missing from my list at a ā€˜Walmart Neighborhood Market’ (Walmart grocery store) of all places. Picked up some Almond flour, Coconut flour, chia seeds, etc there.

(Kelly) #26

My husband and I typically buy bacon, HWC, macadamia nuts, butter, almond flour, cream cheese and eggs. The macadamia nuts are a wonderful treat! $17 for a large can in Michigan.

#27

They didn’t have macadamia nuts today when I went.

(Boston_guy) #28

They had Rib Eye (steak of the Gods) for $8.99/lb. Great price.

#29

I saw these at Costco. Are they pretty good tasting and worth the price? I think it’s a newer product around here.

(Sheri Knauer) #30

I really like them and they are made with all good ingredients. You can’t go wrong with this list of ingredients. My kids really like them too and call them their healthy hot dogs. I personally think they are worth the money and can feed them to my family guilt free!

(Edith) #31

We get them, too. In fact, I am eating one right now for lunch.

That is pretty impressive. I guess it’s important to remember what quality ā€œreal foodā€ actually costs over foods laced with a bunch of cheap fillers.

(Sheri Knauer) #33

Yes! Its been a while since I bought them because I got like 4 packages at one time but I do remember one Costco package of the Teton Waters stuff has more in it than when you get it from a regular grocery store or when you buy other brand hotdogs. As soon as I get them home, I take them out of the package and individually wrap them then freeze them.

#34

Whisps Parmesan Crisps and Boursin Cheese.

(Candy Lind) #35

I’m hitting Costco tomorrow for the first time. I keep adding new stuff to my list. I’m not going to get out of there for under $500!

#36

I’m not loyal to any chain store and who should be? Saying that, Sams has 6 lb big meaty raw frozen chicken wings fantastic for baking! Add melted butter and franks hot sauce, heaven on earth!

(Stacy Blanchard) #37

I buy pork belly and make my own bacon. It’s easy and inexpensive.

#38

I have been buying regular store brand butter from a local grocery store lately but I’ve seen kerrygold butter for a lot cheaper at Wal-Mart. Costco sells a two pack of 8oz bars for like $8.99. Wal-Mart sells those 8oz bars individually for like $2.39 each.

(Sheri Knauer) #39

Its tough getting out of Costco for anything less than 3 figures! I made a mistake with the name of the sausages though. Its Teton Waters, not Teton Falls. My Costco hasn’t had them in a few months. Im hoping they will get them back in stock when spring rolls around.

(Sheri Knauer) #40

The Kerrygold at my costco is three 8oz bars for $8.99 (the price recently went up from $7.99). Sounds like you can get it for less still at Walmart!
