Keeping BPC in a Coffee Carafe

(Ron) #1

Has anyone tried this?

I would like to blend up a few servings of Bulletproof Coffee and bring to work with me, having a blender here is rather inconvenient… has anyone ever done this? I wonder if it would separate, would just keeping it shook up help?

When I can’t blend mine, I use something similar to this Milk frother

Generally I just give it a quick shake before drinking if it’s been a while, but that’s more to gauge how much is left because I use a Stanley Classic One-handed Vacuum mug to carry it.

Thank you for the info!

Added both to my Amazon cart, I was in the market for something like those

I put it in contigo insulated travel mugs after blended. A good shake usually works fine.

I use a 25oz Stanley vacuum sealed bottle. Coffee stays hot until after lunch. I just give it a shake before pouring my next cup and I haven’t had any separation issues. Get a bottle brush to clean it, though. Getting the old oil/butter out is much easier with the brush.

Most days I just keep topping it up. Why waste all that beautiful lining in your mug.

After all, you don’t clean a teapot with soap and water.

I also use the Stanley Vacuum mug in conjunction with a Qt Stanley thermos to get me through the day. They both keep coffee hot all day long.

I don’t worry about a little separation. I give it an occasional shake. If it does separate those last few sips will be nice and rich!

Much to my wife’s dismay I rarely clean my thermoses. Quick rinse with hot tap water bout the limit of what I do.

has anyone tried the powdered coconut oil / mct oil? i think you can even get powdered butter- I wonder if they mix in or behave like normal once in hot liquid…

I’ve used the powdered MCT Oil by Quest and it mixes in like any other powder and hasn’t separated like an oil would within the timeframe that I’ve kept the mixture around.

I make a large Contingo travel mug and I drink from it until lunch time.
