Just realized I went over carb limit

(Mike list) #1

According to my fitness pal I went over by 7 grams will that reset all my work thus far???

(Ken) #2

My God! What a disaster! Do you realize that’s 28 extra calories?

You’re fine.

(Eric) #3

Just make sure to be under by 7 grams tomorrow.

(Kenny Embry) #4

Well, I wouldn’t stress out about it. It may knock you out of ketosis, but pretty unlikely. Everybody is different, but I wouldn’t lose sleep. Just try to stay under 20 tomorrow.

The first response made me realize how crazy I seemed.

(Mike list) #6

I’m usually way under 20g normally also I’m tracking Carbs not net carbs.

You’ll live, it happens.

Remember this feeling when you are lazyketo-ing in a few months. You will laugh :joy:

Remember, for the same reason that you can’t really measure calories to the accuracy that the apps would have you believe, you can’t really measure carbs that accurately unless you are going pretty ZC.
Unless you are really sensitive to carbs it shouldn’t really matter.
You can easily be +/- 5-10 carbs based on the actual measures of what you eat (1oz vs 1.2oz), the specific batch of some manufactured food (since the packet scores are just averages from a tiny sample of the product) etc.

Literally, KCKO

Even if it does knock you out of keto, such a small amount would mean you’ll be back on track pretty quickly, within a day quite possibly. However, it’s very minor and you may have a greater tolerance to carbs than some others. KCKO. :sunglasses:
