Just here to toot my own horn

On December 29, 2017 I walked into my doctor’s office with the flu. I weighed 287 pounds (I’m just shy of 6’2").

I used to do Atkins (full-time induction phase) back in the late 90s to keep myself trim (I was a competative weight lifter in HS and weight class mattered a lot). So I figured “I’ll do the low carb thing for a while.”

Now, April 4, 2018 I weigh 229 pounds.

Why did I ever stop eating low carb in the first place?!

Anyway, I just wanted to share my sucess. I love this WOE and my goal to to get back below 200 pounds.

Wow! Good job! Toot away!

I have asked myself that question many times. I did Atkins in the late 80’s, lost weight and felt great, then quit it and gained my weight back. Dumb!

Thanks.

I don’t know why we do these things to ourselves.

Are u setting or do you have a weight goal in mind?

Thank you!

No, I don’t have a particular goal in mind other than getting and staying below 200 (which would be very lean for my height and frame).
