While I think Potato would be fantastic to have back it is a close second to flour for me.

I can’t decide. I go back and forth between wheat and potatoes. So many things that I grew up on revolve around the potato. But if I had wheat, I can really do some amazing breads and pastries that I just can’t quite do with keto substitutes.

Turnip fries are a pretty good alternative (the best of the daikon/jicama/turnip experiments I tried).

Heh. I just don’t trust myself having a deep fryer in the house. :slight_smile:

Edit: Oh…and, yes, my vote is bread. Looking forward to when big food gets behind Keto like it has gluten.

Rice! Whenever anyone is sick they ask me to make my sick rice lol it’s just regular rice with salt and butter. But it’s so good and my daughter would eat it everyday if I let her! I miss so many curry and lentil dishes with rice.
