Is this Keto flu?

I’m now on Day 8. Diarrhea feels like its almost over. So only one week in… last night I was especially weary and did some research about diet sodas and Monster energy zero ultra. Apparently it’s keto friendly. Now I don’t intend to keep drinking them but it’s helping me bridge the gap.

After drinking it I felt strangely dizzy. When I woke up this morning I felt the same. I feel like throwing up, I keep getting dizzy and weak.

Is this Keto flu or is it that my body rejecting the drinks?

Might be keto flu, I never got it so not sure. Take good care of yourself, real flu is around too.

fake sugars make me feel dizzy. not sure why, but i just avoid them, I do much better. if you want a boost, just drink coffee.

As you try to limit them, you’ll likely start loosing your taste for them. I tried a sip of a Diet Coke a couple weeks ago and couldn’t believe how nasty it tasted.

In regards to your other symptoms. Make sure to stay hydrated. I’ve had days where evening comes and I’m feeling a bit woozy, and/or headaches, and realize the only water I had that day was my morning coffee. For the purposes of hydration, I’d tend to not count the diet soda or energy drinks as water.

Honestly I loved the taste of the diet soda and it helped.
But the way I felt afterwards was pretty insane. I felt so sick and dizzy and now I have heavy heartburn.

I don’t think I’ll be drinking anymore.
