Is this a stall?

Hello again!

So, Since I started on August 5th, I have lost 8.5 kilos, and I’m extremely happy about that. Some changes that I’ve experienced…

My cravings have almost completely disappeared
I wake up easier
I have more energy, all of the time
I’m never exhausted anymore
My daily attitude is much better… annoyances have been easier to deal with
My work performance has improved
I no longer snore… strangely

Additionally…
My children listen to what I say
I enjoy my mother-in-law
My house cleans itself
My phone no longer needs to be plugged in to recharge
Every dream I have includes a new pony
My beard grows perfectly and no longer needs trimming
I got a delivery the other day, and it was full of lost socks
My students never talk during class anymore
My alarm automatically snoozes itself
My television remote control has stopped getting lost

Needless to say, this diet is a godsend.

However…

I haven’t lost any weight since September 4th. That’s one week, today. I am still hitting my macros, I am still under 16 grams of carbs, daily. I still have a spare tire, so I absolutely still have fat to burn.

Suggestions or comments?

Thanks in advance!

Steve.

I wonder if it’s the same pony in both our dreams?

In terms of your weight loss, be patient and stay the course.

Being patient, Staying the course… of course.

Hi Steve

Sounds like you are experiencing the PISS Stage (Post Induction Stall Syndrome)

This is completely normal
Your body is making ketones but isn’t quite sure how to use them until they are fat adapted
People typically stall in this stage, and it can take a few weeks of staying motivated before you will start to see a loss again.
That’s because you will be truly losing fat, not water weight.

Hang in there, you’re on the right track

Unfortunately, it’s been well over a year, and I still have not grown taller, and my hair has failed to turn blond. What am I doing wrong? :frowning:

Although I have to admit that my lost cell phone did turn up, which is truly amazing!
