I’ve been on my keto journey for a a couple of weeks and I’m loving it. I’ve lost 14lb on the scales (yes, I know it’s just water but it still makes me happy). Over the last 7 days I’ve introduced 24hr fast every day, partly because I’m heavy weight training 5 days a week and i like the thought of getting a free G.H boost from the fast but mostly because I can’t be bothered to cook more than once a day. I was browsing a few articles on the web and read that consuming all of your protein in one meal is bad on keto as your intestines can’t absorb all the protein and it will throw you out of ketosis, Does anyone out there know if this is accurate??
Is one meal a day o.k

I enjoy OMAD often. You’re going to be fine. You’re technically out of ketosis when you eat anyway due to insulin response to feeding, so you’re better off with the one meal a day pattern, in my opinion.
I don’t have much experience if you’re referring to the protein powders though.

Thank you for the info. I don’t use protein powders at all, never had trouble getting enough protein from food. My old saying when I was bodybuilding was “your daily protein macro is only another steak away”
