Is it wrong

(Peter Demarest) #1

To eat hollendaise with a straw. Asking for a friend.

(John) #2

I see you’ve discovered my Beurre Blanc eating method.

(Andrew Anderson) #3

I prefer a rubber nipple.

#4

I use a spoon or my fingers - it’s too thick for straws!

I suppose I could just lay down and pour it into my mouth…

(Peter Demarest) #5

Now where did I put that funnel?

(Tom) #6

No. There is no wrong way to consume it, but I would advise obtaining consent before licking it off of somebody else. Or at least refrain from applying it to strangers for that purpose. Not that I would know, or anything. I’m totally theorizing and not citing personal experience in any way. :flushed:

Better than a straw is a silicon spatula. You can get the entire contents into you and completely wipe the jar so clean you may not need to wash it.

#8

Guilty as charged! :smiling_imp:

Did you hack my kitchen web cam?

(Dustin Cade) #9

I’ve never tried this sauce… is that weird?

(Michelle) #10

I definitely can’t make it, but it’s so keto friendly - egg yolks and butter. yummy. I order it whenever I do see it on the menu.

(Jessica) #11

Have you tried Aioli? It’s not hollandaise, but I use it instead. It’s blended up cold you just have to have super fresh ingredients.
And you could certainly leave out the garlic.

(Michelle) #12

Love Aioli too. I am the one that put the FOOL in foolproof mayo. Tried making it and royally screwed it up. Not sure how, but it’s got to be my rudimentary cooking skills.

#13

Haha. Birds of a feather.

#14

That is what servants are for

Michelle, I agree as I am usually about 50% at getting mayo right the first time. Whisked by hand the last couple of times with success so may stick with that from now on.
