Interesting thought from Keto School

Found this site late, and wanted to share this one line. I have been researching/overcoming a lengthy stall and am learning new things, or re-learning things I had forgotten or my sweet tooth was ignoring! Pretty basic stuff but I love the simplicity:

“In order to shrink fat cells over time, the breakdown of fat that occurs while insulin levels are down MUST OUTWEIGH the fat storage that occurs when insulin levels are up.”

Kind’a overly simplistic. A better explanation is that you need to shift from a nutritional pattern that primarily secretes insulin to one that primarily secretes glucagon. They’re only dealing with half the equation, without a complete understanding of Lipolysis.

By doing what differently?

I read this as (for weight loss):

  • Insulin low GOOD
  • Insulin high BAD
