In Dr. Colin Champ’s paper,
he writes,
the actual IGF-1 found in dairy does not appear to make it through the digestion process and into our system
Do other people believe that? Any corroborating science?
If it’s true cancer patients could greatly reduce anxiety over eating dairy.
Colin also writes,
Fasting, however, greatly decreases insulin (which will increase IGFBP-1), increases ketones, and downregulates the insulin/IGF-1 pathway. This can even be accomplished in more reasonable fasts, like 15 hour periods.
So very reasonable Intermittent Fasts are effective treatments!
