Wondering if anyone’s pulled the trigger on one of these. Looks like it lacks some of the features (Bluetooth, for example) of the more expensive Anova, etc. and some of the reviews note other deficiencies. But I wonder whether it might still be worth it for the savings, particularly as a means of dipping one’s toes into the sous vide waters (so to speak…please don’t cook your toes).
I sous vide with a crock pot and a temp controller kinda like in this video, and even without circulation it works awesome.
BTW: We’re going to talk to the head chef at Anova Culinary in the next week. Should be an interesting chat as she is apparently keto herself.
