Industrial sous vide live at an Adelaide bar'n'grill

(Running from stupidity) #21

Oh man, so good. I don’t like fish, but lobster…

And yeah, it used to be prison food  #seriously

(Eric - The patient needs to be patient!) #22

Scallops are $17.95US/lb right now where I live. There are very good and clean but too much $$.

(Doug) #23

Ouch, Eric. Yeah, that’s high. I haven’t gotten any scallops for a long time; years. Restaurant Depot has dry scallops for $11.89/lb. - might give them a try.

(Running from stupidity) #25

You know you want to get into sous vide. Why else would you be here?

(Katie the Quiche Scoffing Stick Ninja ) #26

Teach me the ways my Leader.
I’m not the best cook, should I just buy a sous vide and let it do all the work for me?

(Running from stupidity) #27

It’s pretty easy. I mean, I can use the thing.

#28

I mean, forks are pretty simple as well, and you couldn’t place one of those properly the other day!

#busted

(Running from stupidity) #30

Therefore, it appears that sous vide is easier than a fork.
