Induction Plateau broken- feeling great!

11 weeks LCHF, last 5 of those strict keto.
Lost a fair bit of water weight early on but have been stuck between 89.1-90.5 kgs (up down up down arghhhh!!!) for past month. Kept calm, Keto-ed on, listened to my body and ate under 20g (total) carbs, moderate protein and fat to satiation.

Found myself ravenously hungry yesterday, so I smashed double cream and coconut oil coffees, blue cheese, Camembert, pâté, avocado, bacon, eggs, salami etc (fun times oh my) and ate double my normal calories in a day purely driven by appetite (normally my appetite drives me to eat 1400-1600 per day, I only track to keep an eye on my macros I don’t calorie count!!!).

Today I woke up to these outstanding blood ketones (for me anyway) and lost 1.1kgs (now 88kg for first time in 1.5 yrs!!!) from yesterday!! Plateau broken huzzah!!!

I feel positively euphoric too- unrelated to great results just woke up feeling indestructible.

I love Keto :sunny:

I love this about this WOE! The fact that you can “binge” eat delicious Keto foods to help break a stall is amazing. Thanks for sharing. KCKO

And another kilo down this week! :dancer:t2:

I’m still eating a LOT of food too.

I double my calories 1 or 2 days a week. Its good to keep the metabolism guessing, and like you I usually notice a weight loss the day after, not always, but its more loss than gain.
