Inbody measurements @ one month. Keeping the muscle losing the fat!

I have finally stopped caring about pounds

Typically, prior to Keto (vegan 2 1/2 years, ultra cardio 5days a week, caloric restriction etc) I would expect 2-3 pounds a week of weight loss consider anything less just stupid when trying to lose weight. I have fluctuated between 230 and 190 most of the time.

At the gym I go to there is an in body machine which measures body fat, skeletal muscle mass, extra cellular water and lbs. not a dexa scan … but it’s free. I decided to track progress on there because my main goal is reduction of body fat and I finally understood I can do that and not lose any weight on Keto through recomposition.

I just have to say I am thrilled at one month results. (Started tracking about 5 weeks into Keto so water weight was gone already ~10 lbs) check them out. !

Edit: Sorry not sure if that posted correctly see reply’s below for image.

My biggest take away was I **have not lost any skeletal muscle since this month while dropping pure body fat.** The skeletal muscle readings can vary with hydration but as you can tell from the first to last reading where the extra cellular h20 is constant my body fat dropped 3% and skeletal muscle is up ~ .5 lb.

I have never achieved this ever I always lose muscle at the same time as losing weight and got quite weak over 2.5 years being vegan.

I am only going to gym 1-3 times a week and not going crazy on the cardio. I am just starting super slow weight resistance and I’m looking forward to see where that takes me.
