Some brand new science from Dr Benjamin Bikman. Takeaway: the more carbs you eat, the more your fat wants to store energy; the more you are in ketosis, the more reluctant your fat is to store energy. It may even start to waste it in the form of heat.

@BillJay this seems relevant to the conversation before about further factors regarding weight loss. This puts forth that people in ketosis basically “waste” energy (by burning it, peeing it out, breathing it out, as well as using it for energy). With high(er) insulin this would not happen.
