At least 2 sheets of lasagne were used, so at 13g Net carbs per sheet, it might be an option for a feast after a fast.
I’ve soooo been missing lasagne and I am prepared to take one for the team on this and ask my missus to make one, in the name of research, obviously! I will report back.
This looks amazing!! I wonder if using dehydrated zucchini strips would work out as a substitute for the lasagna sheets… or maybe sweated zucchini… or maybe replace the lasagna sheets with ham slices???
I’m considering substituting turkey bacon for the bacon… but i need a way to add more fat to it.
I know I’m cruising in dangerous waters here, but I just don’t like bacon THAT much.
I’ve met my (non-keto) wife half-way and said that she can make it with up to 3 pasta sheets, given that I’ll probably only eat about a third of it anyway, so can still fit that into my daily macros. That way, I’m still reducing her carbs by stealth, and I get it made for me! I usually cook 4 days out of 7, so I think that’s reasonable
