I'm hungry! Anyone have any tips/tricks?

Day one, hour 18. I was a little hungry but able to take a deep breath and feel the hunger and be curious about the sensation. Now my hubby is grilling sausages and fries for the kids lunch and I love those damn sausages!!! Now my hunger feels like an emergency.
Does anyone have any tips or tricks to get through this? Maybe I’ll try mint tea or bone broth. Idk.

I have to go for a long walk when fasting and my husband is cooking his meals. The smell intensifies the hunger, the vigorous walking tames the wild beast :blush:

Drink plenty of water especially when your stomach starts to rumble. If you are not fat adapted yet, you may be deluded by Carb addiction to think your hungry when it’s just withdrawal from the sugar.
It’s only about , upto six weeks to get into ketosis, mine was about five.
This water method fools your stomach into accepting its got food.
Now I’m fat adapted I really prefer to smell food than to eat it! It’s really food porn!
Often I want to smell my wife’s carby food when she’s eating . The other day she had a cheese sandwich on crusty bread . It smelled Devine - but did I want to eat it - no
This is my life now and my body thanks me for it.:pray::heart:

I’m keto adapted. I’m over 36 hours and the fast now and I’m feeling good. The last time I fasted was before I had children and was a stay-at-home mom. It’s much more difficult now that I have to cook the meals and clean the kitchen but not eat any of the food . I’ve been having a cup of broth when I’m super hungry and it helps a lot.
