Well folks, I’m grounded. I can no longer fly. No more flying squirrel ‘flapping wings’ under my arms… they are snucking up quite nicely! Also, maybe TMI, but my ahem… back fat is going down. Oh man, a boy I had a big crush on in band (35 yrs ago) who stood right behind me when we practiced made a very loud joke one day at practice about hating seeing back fat on people. How gross it was, etc., and of course everyone snickered at that. And of course I had plenty of it so I just knew it was directed at me. It’s those negative things that stick with us. So happy this stigma is going to be a thing of the past (for real) soon.

Thanks. So many times there are little inspirational things we can post if we don’t ignore them thinking they are too insignificant…and in my case embarrassing. But I don’t seem to care much anymore.

Wow that was really rude of him. But also it affects us and it is our body. You must be so glad to feel more comfortable in your body.

Yeah, middle school (7-9th grade) can be really awful. Somehow we survive. I’m glad.
