I'm going 14 to 18 hours every day now

…which is to say, I wake up around 8-10, have a good sized breakfast… either a bunch of bacon or sausage, or Salmon (LOVE Salmon for breakfast :wink: 5 or 6 jumbo eggs, of which I will only keep one or two whites… My 20oz mug of double strength coffee… Then I’m off and running :slight_smile: Have to remind myself to eat dinner around 4 or 5, because if I don’t think about it, (or if I’m busy with something else) I’ll forget to eat !
So I try to eat a big, fat dinner. Favorite is a 20 oz Ribeye, a good helping of green veggies, and some kind of fat bomb desert which my GF often makes… then I’m good for another 14 to 18 hrs.

This ^ is just unheard of for me ! I’ve always been a freaking pig ! I could eat a massive gut busting meal, and be looking for sweets or just flat out, more food, within a few hours.
When I was body building, I was eating 3800 cals or so just to break even. But I could (and often did) eat 5000+ cals on many days, and I was still freaking starving ! In fact, being uncomfortably hungry all the freaking time, was one of the only downsides of that time period in my life.

Anyway, I guess they call this fasting… But its starting to feel like a normal, easy, automatic thing for me.

Unfortunately, I have chores to do today, but tomorrow, I think I’ll go climb a mountain :slight_smile:

That is great! I am doing a 24 hour fast once a week, and then 18 hours fasting daily, eat for 6 now… I realize my body might stabilize over time doing that and I might have to widen the eating window at times.

You are doing awesome, keep up the good work, and hopefully your lovely gf can gain some weight too on the journey you are both doing. Best wishes for continued success.

Thank you :slightly_smiling_face: I’m just going to stick to this for a few weeks and see how it goes. Might switch some things up a little down the road. Adjust as I go.
I really want to do a few hard core hiking / climbing trips, just to see how my appetite reacts.
I use to do a hard core hiking / climbing day, and the next day I could just eat a whole freaking cow and still be freaking starving ! Hoping it’s not so bad now…

Haha, I meant I have a 6 hour eating span. LOL… I have had 5 babies (now 18,almost 21, 23, 25 and 27 though), so during those pregnancies I was eating for 2 so – in a way… I have in the past eaten for two (times 9 months times 5), hehe.

Best wishes for massive success with your adventurous hiking and climbing trips though! That sounds great, you will have to take pics and post them. Your gf seems very fit and into that too? so you can get her to do them with you, what a great couple activity.
