I'm being really good!

I don’t have any cravings for my beloved wine, nor any sweets, and I thought I’d never say that. I keep carbs between 16 and 19 daily, but yesterday I was at 21g. Is that bad?? Still not fat-adapted, so I don’t want to screw up this stage.

Most of my carbs come from avocado, spinach or cucumber. (and then those incidentals in cheese, processed meat, etc.)

Please reassure me that 21g carbs yesterday won’t screw me in getting fat adapted!! I worry about these things.

21 grams yesterday will not screw you in getting fat adapted.

  1. 20 grams is a very conservative limit.

  2. 1 gram is a tiny, tiny amount.

  3. Measuring carbohydrate percentages in food is an approximate thing at best. The 1 gram is probably well under the measuring error you have every day.

thanks all. I am a worry wort. And I am just getting impatient. I know, I know… it’s a process and takes time. Have to keep eating keto and hope that my body gets on board sooner rather than later.

tick tock tick tock tick tock … breathe… kcko…
