If?

Just went full on keto 2 days ago. My lunch break at work is early (10:45), so haven’t eaten breakfast. This leaves me lunch and dinner, keeping it under 20 g carbs. I have only eaten about 1100 calories these 2 days, and I don’t feel hungry. Should I be worried, or just go with it?

Just go with it… I’ve been keto 5 and a half weeks now and I don’t feel hungry till about 3pm so I have something small and then my dinner at 6pm and some times I’ll have cheese or pickles at 9pm at night… Keto is fantastic, I’ve never had the not hungry feeling till I went keto and it feels amazing…

Go with it. Listen to your body. It is probably munching on some body fat for energy so you don’t need food.

I have been trying to do this for some time, just sucked at follow thru. Hoping this time is different

If you listen to podcasts, I found listening to the 2 Keto Dudes, the Obesity Code and other low carb podcasts motivating. This forum also helps keep me in a good mindset. I also like reading low carb diet oriented books. And since I like adding variety to my diet, I like googling low carb/ Keto recipes to try. I will say, low carb baking was hit or miss (and a lot of expensive misses!! at first). But I stuck to trying at least one new recipe a week, which worked well for me. Now, I even have quite a bit of success adapting recipes myself. You’ll find lots of ideas here to keep you motivated, you can find something that works for you.

Good luck!

It may be helpful to check out your specific macronutrient needs for your situation I.e. how many calories and calories from what.

It can help you assess what and how much to eat moving forward.

Sounds like you’re off to a fine start!

I have used that and they had me at 155 g fat, 80 protein. I am under that as I am only eating 2 meals a day. I feel fine.
