Yeah, that’s why I don’t name my cats.
If you don't have anything nice to say
The dreaded Chupacabra? Everyone seems to have seen one, except me!!
Oh my goodness.
I couldn’t understand why this thread had 53 new replies in it in just a few hours… But now I see! Bunnies! And cats! And koalas!
Here’s my karakachan Marla. She is timid and sweet, unless you happen to be on the other side of our fence…
We have chickens but I would never name them. They are my food!!
Randomly, my brother named one of his cats lunch…
Don’t forget the hermaphrodite pigs! They have feelings, too!
This was Zaaz’ brother Salem. Unfortunately, he was a roamer, he tended to get into scrapes, and is no longer with us.
Are you an X-Files fan? I occasionally will see dogs that I swear look like a chupacabra, I point and say “that’s a chupacabra!” as a joke and no one else gets the reference, but a lot of my coworkers are much younger than me and would probably look at me the same way if I said “X-Files”. (not that it’s only an X-Files reference.)
I have never heard of this breed! She’s adorable!
And I adore black cats. They are so awesome. I’m sorry he’s no longer with you.
Yes I am. An x files fan that is. And I really know people who claim to have seen the creature, though the best guess is it’s a Javalena. Part pig, part wolf. Poor Salem. When he was six months old he got torn up trying to get through a fence. 1,000 dollars later, he was fine. But, he had to be stitched up three times. The third time was the charm, a new vet figured out box stitches would work. Sadly he jumped the fence, we think. I feel guilty but I have always had indoor-outdoor cats. My last cat, frank, had five homes and always stayed around. He died a natural death at 18.
I just want to add a comment regarding people’s conduct on the keto forum. I have found that folks, men and women, have been very supportive and encouraging. I can’t say that anyone has bullied me, nor have I seen any bullying posts. There are some people who post and are in a very negative headspace, and have a hard time accepting help and letting go of their preconceived notions, In general, people have responded with kindness, support, and lots of links to more knowledge.
I am so grateful for the knowledge of the 2 keto dudes and for this forum. I truly was at my wit’s end when I started keto, and this site has really saved my life in so many ways. I wake up most mornings refreshed, I have a new job that I like, I’m getting a lot of exercise with all the walking I’m doing (walking + pub transportation). I’m eating well and still losing weight! And, yes, my blood sugars and blood pressure have dropped to the point that I have cut back on some of my meds, and probably will be completely off my insulin in a couple of months.
I enjoy the humor that I find here as well; maybe it’s growing up with a dad and 3 brothers that makes me appreciate male humor.
So to everyone here, a big THANK YOU for all that you do. KCKO
