Rebel Ice Cream will do what you need, Just leave it out for 15 mins before eating. Rebel and choc zero cure any sweet craving for me.
Ideas for snacks
Thanks for all the ideas, recipes and ice cream links! I have 3 keto books but really rely on Keto Clarity because I am also interested in incorporating IF down the road. They advise not to eat more than 30-35 oz of protein per meal. For dinner I have a 1/3 lb (85%) muenster cheeseburger with 2 Tbls of mayo–so my protein it right up there. I did try 2 oz of cream cheese and it did the trick. Jimmy Moore states in his book–if you have cravings–eat something with a lot of fat–so my cravings must have been for more fat. I keep my carbs around 20–probably less if I figure net carbs and my protein has been in the 70-75 every day, I usually go over my limit with the fat. I have a large breakfast: eggs/sausage/bacon and eat an avocado for lunch (100 grams)-anything over 100 grams I give my dog as she loves them too! I am really sensitive to too much protein at one time.
Once again–thanks for all the advice and information! I have a lot more research to do!
The advice is not to stay hungry, it is to avoid snacking by eating enough at mealtime to avoid going hungry between meals. You can certainly have your favorite snack foods as part of the meal.
