I’ve heard that often the ketone strips appear to “stop” working (e.g. Don’t register ketones anymore) when you truly fat adapt? Something about your body getting more efficient with using ketones and this fewer leaving your body via urine and thus they don’t show up? Not sure if this is true but might be a good measuring stick for fat adaptation to (ironically/counterintuitively) look for your ketones to STOP showing up on the sticks (along with longer periods of spontaneous fasting between meals and increased energy levels) :woman_shrugging:
