I now weigh less than my driver's license reports!

I don’t think this has happened since my early 20’s. I’m now 6 pounds below my DL readout!

And I went to the doctor’s yesterday, and my weight is lower than it’s been since I started with Kaiser back in 2010. I told the doctor I’ve been sleeping a full hour less each night, and he’s not at all concerned. He says anything over 6 hours is within the range of healthy, although it varies from person to person, and he said my health is on a really good trajectory and it’s time to reduce one of my medications!

:grinning:

Funny, I didn’t really think about it, but I just looked and Im 60 under my listed weight (which at the time was a lie by quite a bit too)

Fantastic NSV!

@Talia, Congrats! I hope to be in that state in a few months! And it is always great to be able to reduce your meds.

Awesome! Sadly I have 17 pounds to go, but I was lying when I gave them that number. LOL

(Brian) #6

I’m 55 lbs less than mine. I got pulled over and questioned about it. Police said I need to go and get it updated lol.

Why on earth is your weight on your driver’s license’s ???

(Jane) #8

I guess for identification purposes. My Arkansas license only shows height. They dropped the weight off my Texas DL years ago because everyone lied about their weight. Can’t remember if it still had height when I surrendered it for my Arkansas DL in 2016.

Í think that’s nuts… Like the drivers license has your picture on it … Your dob and home address … What if I loose all the weight … Could I be done for having and inaacurate driver’s licence as I’d be nearly a whole person smaller that starting weight.

(Chelsea Barnett) #11

I was thinking same thing. NC doesn’t have weight on ours. Only height

Good old California. Nothing here really makes sense lol!

It seems like the main purpose of the DL (situation I’ve needed it the most over the course of my life) is purchasing alcohol. The drinking age is 21, but the rule in California is store clerks have to card you if you appear under 30. Isn’t that funny? So from the time I was 21 until 35, I had to have my DL with me to do my weekly shopping. These days, I get carded about twice a year, usually because the cashier carded the 30-something person ahead of me in line and doesn’t want me to feel bad for looking older.

We have a 25 year old age for Id required for alcohol. I never get asked anymore :sob::sob::sob::sob::sob::sob:

(Hoteski) #15

But you can buy alcohol from age 18

We have eye color and height on our licenses in CT. I’m 2" shorter since I started driving when I was 17. I’m 60. I’m hoping it’s because of the two back surgeries of disc removal I’ve had and I’m not just shrinking, lol.

I don’t even look like my DL photo anymore :joy: When I go out half the time I get questioned lol I’m like I swear it’s me I just look better now. Plus in my DL I had black hair and now it’s blonde . I was super tan then too and now I’m not so on top of looking thinner my hair and skin tone are different lol
