I messed up

(Angelia A Cameron) #1

Playing tennis today and I started eating Tums because of my stomach. Didn’t even think about carbs until after the game. It was a 3hour match so I am sure I ate at least 10. I’m going to just continue but my question is what, if anything, this will affect? We won though

Winning is everything . I have not a scooby-doo about the tums except to say that I know they have a lot of sugar but you probably burned it off while playing for that long.

My assorted berry, generic tums have 1 g sugar per tablet. I hope this helps and remember, tomorrow is a new day.

Also, why are you eating so many tums? Heartburn?

Only 10 g of carbs, after playing tennis for three hours I doubt it will even be a blip. You’re fine, don’t worry.

It was playoffs and my nerves were crazy. I am wondering if you go out of ketosis for a day, does that mean you start over. I’ve just been on it a week so I’m just learning.

You can always go make an Awesome PSA for Tums Or YT video next time?
just use your Post s it will go viral

“ Game Set Match - winning is everything with Tums “

I’m no help, sorry
Any Who
It’s just one day, you will be fine

Good Luck!

So you double faulted on a few Tums. Just make your next serve an ace. This type of unforced error is an easy fix.

(Running from stupidity) #8

Actually, just getting the ball in play and keeping it in play would be fine

And learning the rules

I agree - no effect. Really small amount of carbs spaced out over an intense (winning) physical activity - shouldn’t even be counted or worried about - would not have come close to raising insulin and putting your body in a fat storage mode.

(Allie) #10

Just forget it and move on. You can’t take them back out of your body so no stress needed.

Thanks everyone. Love the support.

No, truly not, not even close. :slightly_smiling_face: Even if had been ten times that many carbohydrates, we’d be talking about a slight pause, perhaps, in your progress, nothing more.

Thanks. My husband and I were talking about it a little. He’s been on keto for couple of months and didn’t think so but was unsure.
