I just found my new snack

So as I grew up my father would eat this particular food and I thought it would be nasty a lot of you may not agree I just never liked avocado’s unless they were in guacamole.

For the past 40 years or so he would split open an avocado pull out the seed and pour in some worcestershire sauce and then just take a spoon and shave off the avocado into the sauce and eat it.

Like I said I never tried it because I thought it would be nasty. Well I just did try it and omg I love it.

I used to live in San Diego but now live in North East Iowa so I used to get 5 avocado’s for a dollar now its 1 dollar each…

Add sardines to that an you have a fantastic meal.

If you can find them on sale buy them, ripen them on the counter and then, when they’re perfect, put them in the fridge. They’ll keep for weeks. And thanks, I may try this.

I second @L0vestotrav3l method. Put them in a Ziploc bag in the refrigerator.

(Ernest) #5

@tekgeek There’s some sugar on worsshshsheetire sauce so proceed with caution.

I’ll have to try this, I love soy sauce. My fave is pecans with soy sauce.

My favorite variation : soy sauce & wasabi, soy sauce & yuzu, Asian chili garlic sauce…

Interesting, I don’t like guacamole but I don’t mind Avocados…lol.

(chris) #14

its surprisingly good

Hehe, just kidding! I find myself not snacking on keto like I used to in the “glucose days.” I think it’s partly being satiated and partly because I know my next meal will be so good!
