I don't know what else to do

@lovethyself I looked it up and saw nothing where it was good grade. All industrial and pest control use. Can you send me a link ?

Speaking of this I enjoy sweet things sometimes, I went to Dunkin Donuts at 2:00 am (lol) last night and ate all four delicious chocolate glazed :doughnut: donuts! Why did I do that? Because I know I am metabolically fit enough to do that, the key point is that I rarely do that and know it will not hurt anything!

I don’t feel guilty, I am confident enough to know what I am doing (educating myself on diet and physiology) and have long-term-self-control and real goals!

The body is like a sports car and I am not just driving this machine, I know what make all the parts tick under the hood, it is a high octane machine to me!

I know that exact feeling. Well carbs are like drugs to the brain. There are studies shown that there are some evidence that the brain responds to these “cheaper” forms of energy – or at least reacts to their absence some time after you’ve had them just like way it responds to actual drugs. What I did to get over my carb addiction was I slowly trained my body to use ketones for energy by doing a modified keto diet and intermittent fasting. The hardest part is initially crossing over into ketosis can be a rocky experience for some, causing brain fog, fatigue, and dizziness, irritability but it’s short lasting. Once on the other side, things make a dramatic turn. Energy production becomes way more efficient, mental focus reaches a new high, productivity skyrockets, and the sugar cravings will go away completely.

most of the ones for industrial use are exactly the same but cheaper but just to be safe if you search “organic diatomaceous earth” or “food grade” you’ll find some.

And don’t be afraid to buy a big bag - you can use the food grade for insect/pest control and a lot of other things! When I treated my walls with boric acid and DE in my old house, we didn’t see a single roach for like 10 years, and that’s unheard of here! You can use it safely around pets and pet bedding to kill fleas if a few get in the house, too.

how did you treat your walls with diatomaceous earth? I am new to the stuff. Do you just put it with water in a spray bottle and spray it around the baseboards?

(Candy Lind) #48

Treated the walls with boric acid everywhere we could get in (switch plates, power outlets, light fixtures), and when we had insulation blown in to the outer walls (it was an OLD house, we put BA down the holes drilled to blow the insulation in. DE, you can just sprinkle around and brush it in. You have to re-treat after vacuuming. Be sure to use food grade DE.

My bacon says “not a significant source of sugar.” Still starving afterwards. But is sugar usually added to most bacon? Do I have to find one that specifically says “no sugar.?”
