Maaaan…I had a reverse woosh (a hsoow) this morning. Up over 3 pounds, maybe up to 5, since Saturday. I know I ate a little more than normal this weekend (low carb) and ran & hiked, but 3+ pounds more? It’s water weight, no doubt, so I’m hoping for a big whoosh later this week or next. Doing IF today through Thursday then starting a 36+ hour fast until Saturday after my 5k. So annoying.

I don’t look at the scale or consider BMI. I know when I’m doing well by how I look (body fat percentage) and feel (energy, mood). You could be very well building more muscle. Also exercising spikes your appetite. I wouldn’t worry about it at all if you’re eating well.

I’m not. I expect to lose it all by this weekend. Unfortunately I’m obsessed with weighing myself daily and recording it. I’m not used to seeing numbers that low on the scale. Just a daily reminder of why I’m doing this but I accept it won’t always be a lower number everyday.
